During this residency at Cœur de la Tarentaise Valley, Into The Winds had the chance to work on their program “Le Grand Embrasement” with the talented and inspiring musician, flutist, and specialist of early music: Pierre Hamon. This collaboration resulted in an exceptional concert!
Pierre Hamon studied music at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where he specialized in Early Music and the Baroque flute.
Over the course of his career, the musician has become a highly respected performer, conductor, and educator in the field of early music. |
Into The Winds’ residency at Coeur de Tarentaise was an excellent opportunity for the group to refine their skills, enhance their repertoire, and collaborate with a renowned artist, ultimately creating a magical musical experience for the audience.
In fact, the ensemble’s residency culminated in an unforgettable concert held at the Notre-Dame-du-Pré church, where they presented their program “Le Grand Embrasement“.
But it was not the first time that the ensemble had mesmerized Early Music lovers in the valley, and it will not be the last!
This performance followed their previous appearance in 2022, and preceeds their come back for the 32nd edition of the Festival de Tarentaise in the summer of 2023. |
This residency would not have been possible without the Centre culturel de rencontre d’Ambronay & the Festival Baroque de Tarentaise. We are thanking them both for their cooperation, which brought Into The Winds new opportunities to learn and grow as an ensemble and as artists.
