Selected in 2019 to join the EEEMERGING+ programme, the four young a cappella singers from the Spanish ensemble CANTORÍA have become regular guests at the CCR d’Ambronay. They have successfully participated several times in the EEEMERGING+ Festival at the CCR d’Ambronay, and got chosen to record an album with the Ambronay Éditions early music label. |
The repertoire that the four singers have decided to record is part of the Spanish musical heritage that they have defended with ardor since their beginnings and have been able to bring to life both vocally and stylistically. Seven Ensaladas by Mateo Flecha El Viejo are featured on this first CD: from the famous El Fuego, La Bomba and La Guerra to the unreleased El Toro (never recorded).
