We are looking for the artists who will take part in the 24th edition of the Ambronay EEEMERGING+ Academy! It will take place from the 22nd of June to the 21st of July 2022, and will be conducted by Ophélie Gaillard.
This academy will be built around the members of the EEEMERGING+ ensemble Butter Quartet who will lead each section:
Anna Jane Lester, violin 1
Chloe Prendergast, violin 2
Isabel Franenberg, viola
Evan Buttar, cello
The program will feature:
- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791)
Symphony No. 25 in G minor, KV. 183 (1773) - Luigi Boccherini (1743-1805)
Concerto for cello and orchestra in D major, G.483 (1770)
Soloist: Ophélie Gaillard - Joseph Haydn (1732-1809)
Symphony No. 36 in E flat major, Hob I:36 (1762) - Luigi Boccherini (1743-1805)
Symphony No. 6 in D minor, “La casa del Diavolo”, G. 506
Excerpt: III. Finale, Andante sostenuto & Allegro con moto (1771)
Here’s the list of the different profiles we need: violin, viola, cello, double bass, oboe, bassoon, horns and pianoforte.
