With both a historically informed approach and a curiosity about rarely performed repertoire, they seek to experiment with the different timbres of early wind instruments, particularly recorders, sackbuts and dulcians, occasionally accompanied by an organ.
Their different programs allowed them to tackle a vast repertoire ranging from the motets of Josquin Desprez or Tomás Luis de Victoria, to the fantasies and canzon of Andrea Falconieri and Bartolomé de Selma y Salaverde, through the madrigals of Philippe de Monte, Cipriano de Rore or even Jacques Arcadelt.
Since their debut in 2022, they have had the chance to participate in numerous masterclasses, notably with Erik Bosgraaf, Benny Aghassi, Daniel Brüggen, Andrés Locatelli, Walter van Hauwe, Joren Elsen, Hester Groenleer, and have the opportunity to perform frequently in Amsterdam. Ogni sorte di strumenti have been programmed in the Sit Fast Concerten concert series organized by Stadthersel Amsterdam for the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 seasons, as well as at the festival of l’Abbaye aux Dames in July 2024 in Saintes (France). In 2025, they were selected to participate in the Première competition at the festival Festivita in Bruxelles.
From 2026, Ogni sorte di strumenti will be part of the european program Sustainable-EEEmerging.
