They believe Early Music remains profoundly contemporary and strive to offer fresh concerts that celebrate the freedom and unique creativity of Baroque compositions, awakening the emotions those composers sought to express through improvisation and archival discoveries.
Since their first concert in January 2023, Nocturnalia has performed widely internationally, including at the Utrecht Oude Muziek Festival, Tartini Festival in Slovenia, Chios Music Festival in Greece, alongside other concerts in Slovenia, the UK, and Greece. They have also been resident artists for the Brighton Early Music Festival Live! Scheme 2024–25 and Contratemps Fringe 2023.
Recently, Nocturnalia was chosen to be part of the 2026-27 EEEmerging European Ensembles scheme, a prestigious platform supporting promising young early music groups.
