Repicco was formed by the violinist Kinga Ujszàszi and the lutenist and guitarist Jadran Duncumb.
Both are in great demand as soloists and chamber musicians and play with prestigious European period instrument orchestras. The ensemble Repicco focuses predominantly on Italian baroque music and in 2013 reached the finals of the York Early Music International Young Artists Competition. For their future projects, the duo will call upon dancers, singers and other musicians as the programme demands.
Repicco won the Audience Award at the eeemerging Festival 2015 during the Ambronay Festival.
Within the eeemerging programme, the ensemble was at the Göttingen International Handel Festival (Germany) from 9 to 18 May 2016 and will perform in the Ambronay Festival on 17 September 2016. This concert will be followed by a residence at the Ambronay Cultural Encounter Centre (France) from 16 to 26 November 2016.
