L’Armonia degli Affetti
Created in 2012 and directed by Alessandro Urbano, the ensemble L’Armonia degli Affetti is specialized in Italian vocal music of the 17th century.
L’Armonia degli Affetti has devoted its first projects to Orfeo Dolente by Domenico Belli and oratorios by Carissimi. In 2014 the ensemble is among the winners of the Young Ensembles 2014 for residencies at the Ambronay Cultural Encounter Centre (France). Within this programme, L’Armonia degli Affetti was in residencies at Ghislierimusica in Pavia and at the Ambronay Cultural Encounter Centre.
Among the latest projects is quoted the concert on oratorios by Carissimi for the European Day of Early Music 2015, with the Portuguese tenor Fernando Guimarães and the program on the Iberian music of the 17th and 18th centuries.
